BROOKDALE TANQUE VERDE

I was working at this facility for about two years, In my experience I am not recommended this place for no one.they don’t have a good working environment the management’s are really bad “0 professionalism manners”they like gossip with the care staffs, they lied to who is not gossip with them, they don’t care about the residents, they don’t care about the care staff I never ever see this kind working place. I don’t really understand who own this place it’s looks the business lady own this place not corporate! The Business office lady fire the care staff dipping her nose everywhere which is not her position team up the caregivers it’s look’s like high school not professional work place “I am not recommended for your love one’s and for who wants working in good work environment”

I have been an employee at Brookdale Tanque Verde since the beginning of the year and I can honestly tell you that we have the best care team! I enjoy coming to work everyday, and the new managers are responsive and take all resident and family concerns seriously. The new management team is also focused on making improvements to the community. They just finished a remodeling project, and the community looks better than ever. The chefs in the kitchen also make great food.

Original Post: My Mom has lived at Brookdale Tanque Verde for a few months. I am constantly impressed with the staff at this facility. They are friendly, compassionate, and really engage with the residents. The staff is also good about engaging with the families. When I walk in, they often tell me in detail how she is doing that day, which confirms that they are engaging with her. The rooms are nice, the facility is clean, and the food is pretty good. My Mom is happy and safe. I am very comfortable with her living arrangement. JULY 2020 UPDATE: My Mom passed away this week at her home in Brookdale Tanque Verde. The entire staff at Brookdale made the journey for my Mom the best it could possibly be. As her health declined, the Executive Director discussed hospice with me and took the time to explain the details and options. The caregivers at Brookdale were absolutely amazing. I think we all know it's not an easy job and they treated my Mom with compassion throughout the process. Even though my Mom didn't talk much near the end, I know she loved the Brookdale caregivers and would always smile when she saw them. THANK YOU BROOKDALE for providing the best possible care for my Mom!

I was a caregiver at Brookdale. They are extremely bias. They are unprofessional and people get away with doing a lot of stuff. Some of the caregivers are lazy and don’t do their jobs right. I was harassed and lied on for almost 2 months by a couple coworkers and nothing was done about it. I’ve been a caregiver for over 10 years and never have I been treated like this at a workplace before. I WOULD NEVER WANT TO WORK FOR THEM AGAIN!!!!

The staff is friendly and engages the residents. It is clean, knowledgeable staff, and family friendly. This has been a perfect fit for my mom.
