MORNINGSTAR AT ARROWHEAD

Found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Worked with my family member to adapt to her new surroundings and showed patience with her issues. Facility is clean, organized and staff has a sense of pride. Would highly recommend this facility to others for their elder care.

If I could give this facility no Stars I would!!! They recently got new staff on the Memory care unit(Joslyn) just to name one but please do not bring your family members here.They have been caught on several occasions not attending to patients .The caregivers are always standing around talking while patients are yelling for help or sitting in their office area laughing and playing around. During meal times they are seen eating the patients food and patients are not being fed.They have new Caregivers who are very rude to families and visitors who come and visit!This place can't keep workers or residents! Poor residents are being neglected!! I have seen this first hand while sitting and visiting with my family member.

The staff have been wonderful and the facility is clean. Residents seem to be well cared for. However, the price has gone way up and the food quality has declined immensely in the last few months. All of the previous reviews are older than 6 months. At that time, there was a menu with great choices. Now there is a small watery soup, tiny meal and very small dessert. Breakfast is a small piece of egg (omelette or something) and a small muffin. NO choices. Something needs to change.

Recently I was invited to provide my weekly music exercise program 'again' by the new Executive Director, Dawn Romayo. I was hesitant at first because five years earlier I had provided my program at this community and chose to leave because I found the community lacking of genuine warmth. care and professionalism towards the residents. Night and Day what a difference five years can make and Dawn Romayo's leadership! Genuine warmth, care, concern, tenderness and professionalism was demonstrated by each member of Dawn's team including herself towards all residents. I interact with the senior population daily I will not hesitate to share my positive view of Morning Star Arrowhead.

My grandmother has been living at the community for the past few years and loves it! Even though there had been changes there, they all have been positive! Food and care services have improved immensely under the new team! What a wonderful Community!
