      I would give the Grand Court a zero star rating if available! I'm a retired Registered Nurse who has a spinal cord injury and have always lived quite independently in my own apartment until the cost of renting in Arizona became unaffordable on my disability income. I had no choice but to move into assisted living! Grand Court had a completely different staff running this facility when I agreed to move in, it had issues but the staff that ran the facility were such respectful and kind people made it feel comfortable to live there! Not many months after I resided there everything changed, the managing staff was replaced by corporate staff and EVERYTHING went downhill incredibly fast!!! I can't possibly relay to you how inhumane and completely indifferent these people were not only to me in ways that would make your skin crawl! I mistakenly went to Cindy the so called executive director for some kind of support and her also being a R.N. I thought would be understanding of my basic needs and my right to be treated with respect and in a humane manner. I instead was humiliated and made to suffer because they would not accept any responsibility for the horrible issue I was trying to handle on my own because instead of offering any hygienic solutions turned everything around to be my fault and tried to take my beautiful life away from me by EVICTING me stating that I was in need of a higher level of care!?! Not because it was true but because I was causing too much trouble and filed complaints about their blatant rudeness and inhumane treatment with multiple agencies! What they did to me and how they tried to take my basic constitutional rights away from me was frightening especially because they would not accept any responsibility for what happened to me and turned on me to avoid taking any responsibility.We go to these places because they are supposed to assist us to live the fullest lives and be treated with the respect anyone deserves regardless of age. DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE I'm only one small example of what goes on at this facility, there's so many people who are being mistreated and/or neglected there. Beware of how quickly they can take your life away from you with deceit, lies and complete indifference to your humanity. They lack any compassion and are only concerned about themselves and corporate monies made off of the elderly and disabled! Shame on you Cindy and Ensign Corporation you embody everything you shouldn't your only mission is how much you can make moneterally off of the elderly and disabled with the absolute bare minimum of care and common decency in return!       I lived here at first it was great had really great staff. However that changed and went down hill. The food is disgusting, the caregivers are overworked. The building needs fixing. When they do fix something all you hear about is how they had to spend money so they can’t do this or that. They used to take the residents places but know longer do that. Not to mention that “some” of the staff steals and the company does as well. I’m owed thousands of dollars as I was moving out I paid the entire month only to find locks changed and couldn’t get in to get my stuff including things that can never be replaced.yes the service was life changing alright. I’ve never been more depressed.

      Heart breaking experience My grandmother got sick and went to the hospital. We went to collect her stuff they said they threw everything away and cleaned within 2 weeks but her apartment was filthy when we got there. Her 3,000 Bed that had been passed down through our family, Brand new plasma TV and her jewelry were thrown away? But Her food was rotting in pots but her 3,000 bed and jewelry was gone. They really broke us here because it was plain lie and nothing could be done. God forbid it happens to your loved one, especially if they have valuables.

      First of all this shouldn’t be a 1 rating it should be left at 0 stars! So my uncle is a resident there and let’s just say the care since day 1 has been off the charts HORRIBLE! Call pendant will go off and nobody will answer. Toilet issues will go 3 days of no service and not being able to flush! And when my uncle had a fall no one came to help him but 4 hours later a guest came and found my uncle on the floor the excuse was your pendant is broken but really it wasn’t! They’re just lazy then to top it off never ever since he’s been here have I been told to leave his room when staff comes in to assist him in with showers or any other medical issues . It took 6 rude unprofessional unethical staff members to come in his room and give his guests attitude and to leave. I’ve never experienced a facility who has unprofessional staff members treats us the way they did. It would have been nice if they came at us with some respect instead of with a disrespectful mouth. The only good thing i have to say is the shower tech is the only one who does her job with great attitude.
