My mom was with Ghizela and Steve for 2 years. She was bed bound and required a lot of care. I truly felt that mom became part of Ghizela’s family. Ghizela knew all 3 of us daughters and all the grandkids and even the great grandkids after a short time. Communication was key and I never worried about getting in touch with her. We can’t say enough and if I had it to do over again, I would still chose Ghizela. My mom loved her.

Ghizela provided unparalleled care and support to my mother and our family. She anticipated and was responsive to every need both my mother and our family had. Her service represents the highest ideals of "caregiving".

Absolutely the best! When my older sister started to decline from dementia, I was referred to this facility by a friend whose father was cared for by the same staff. A smaller setting was exactly what was needed for her care. 24x7 attention, custom-cooked meals, and caring staff. The facility is perfectly maintained and the cost is reasonable. Really eased my mind that she was properly cared for right up to the end of her life.

My Aunt Nancy was Paradise Valley Foothills Assisted Living’s first resident and was with them for four years until her passing mid-February 2023 at the age of 97. Aunt Nancy was slowing down, but still pretty mobile up until the very end and always had a very clear mind. I called often, since I live abroad, and she would tell me about outings they had done (more-so pre-Covid times) and the daily goings on. On the two separate occasions I was able to visit, I found a very clean and comfortable establishment. If I didn’t know it was an assisted living facility, I would’ve thought it was just a very large house. It also has a large landscaped inner courtyard which allowed Aunt Nancy to get “out”, get a bit of exercise or just to take it easy and relax in the fresh air. Ghizela and Steve, the couple who run the home are both very warm and welcoming. Their manner, both professionally and personally, reassured me that Aunt Nancy was getting the best care possible in a comfortable and respectful environment.

Cannot say enough about how wonderful Ghizela is. My husband and I placed his mother with Ghizela in May of 2022. Ghizela was so patient with her. She had a difficult time adjusting to say the least. Ghizela never gave up. Ghizela is very organized and knows how to get the proper care needed. Ghizela always kept us informed and finally got our mother comfortable and living her best life. It was always a pleasure visiting as Ghizela and Steve are so friendly and caring. Sadly our mother passed recently. What I can say we know her last few months of her life she was happy and in the greatest of care. We cannot thank Ghizela enough.
