I have had the honor and privilege placing and working with Laura Cohen. Bella Vita Assisted Living Homes provide my clients with the best quality care and are run extremely professionally. They also have a warm environment that makes families feel like the home is an extension of their own home. My latest experience was with a client that was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and because Laura has made it her mission to provide additional care training that’s specific to Parkinson’s disease patients, I knew that she and her team would provide the best quality care for my client. The difference from the time he arrived and only 3 days later was incredible and it showed me how much confidence I have in Bella Vita Assisted Living. I absolutely highly recommend any of the Bella Vita Assisted Living homes.

My 99-year old stepfather has resided at Bella Vita at Las Palmaritas since February, 2022. He and I have been pleased with the care that he has received. The facility is well maintained and the staff are friendly. The managing nurse, Akilah, is quick to respond to my texts and emails. If I see something amiss (as inevitably happens in any care facility), it is taken care of quickly. I also like that Bella Vita frequently has programs during the day to entertain and help keep residents mentally engaged. It has been a good care home for my stepfather.

I feel very fortunate having found Bella Vita for my mother. My mother had been living in a larger Assisted Living Facility but as her health began to decline, it was clear she was going to need more care. Bella Vita was recommended to me from a long-time friend who was familiar with the facility having worked for hospice. I took that as a great recommendation as she said “ if it were my mother, I would feel comfortable having her cared for at Bella Vita.” As my mother’s health began to further decline, I was fortunate enough to spend each day with her for several months until her passing. Being present at the facility daily gave me the unique opportunity to observe first-hand the Care Givers interactions with the Residents. The environment is very inclusive. The staff prepares all meals and the residences “likes and dislikes” are taken into consideration by including them in the weekly food ordering process; trying their best to accommodate them when placing the weekly grocery order. There is music playing throughout the day , in addition, the Facility Manager also actively engages with the Residents in group chair exercises and viewing travel logs by encouraging discussions along the way. In closing, I can say that the staff truly cares for the Residents, treating them with kindness and respect which is the most comforting aspect when choosing a care facility. Sincerely, Cynthia W.

My father recently stayed at Bella Vita Care Home at 1002 W. Las Palmaritas Drive in Phoenix. My siblings and I were very happy with the care he received while he was there. The home has been recently remodeled and is modern, clean spacious, elegant and beautifully furnished. The entire staff is incredibly attentive, warm and caring. This home offers a true family environment. They cared for my father as lovingly as we would have ourselves. Bella Vita was a blessing and comfort in our lives and I recommend this care home very highly.

Bella Vita was one of several places I looked at when my mother had two falls in two days. Prior to that, she had lived independently up to the age of 94. Bella Vita has been such a great place for mom to be at--every single time I am there, I see kind and conscientious aides and nurses working with not just mom, but everyone there. Bella Vita is also such a pretty place as well--very modern, and the layout is very well thought out. I feel so relieved to have mom at Bella Vita. It's nice to know she is being taken care of at all times.
