I toured multiple independent and skilled nursing homes before I picked Broadway Mesa Village. In the last 8 months only have had one concern. After a couple weeks it was addressed. The time delay was a result in communication issues. Employee I called no longer worked for them. Today I dealt with a corporate leader covering and issues were immediately corrected. My mom loves the staff. Food is excellent. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Cost is in line with other facilities. I am an Rn and am very critical of my care for my mother. Todd

My sister moved here a little over a month ago from an acute care facility. Julia and Michelle have been amazing helping me get things taken care. Think they and the caregivers do everything possible to make her stay comfortable and pleasant. I am grateful everyday that we picked this facility. Thanks to everyone.

This facility is amazing, very clean, facilitated very well and gives outstanding service. Staff is very kind and helpful and knowledgeable. They always greet you with kind words and a smile. They treat you like family. The facilitator and manager of the entire facility Michelle Redding is an awesome woman. She’s very knowledgeable ,considerate and helpful. She has a lot of experience and has so much empathy, for anyone who walks through that door potential clients and family members. I would recommend this facility anyone. I would go as far as even working there if I could if I was still in that field.

This facility is owned by Pegasus Senior Living, which if you look on Indeed they have a 2.3 star rating of reviews from employees. If you look up Broadway Mesa Village reviews on Indeed, they’re all deleted, I’m assuming that’s because there are no good experiences at this community. The turnover has been exceptionally high in the last year, anywhere from upper management to care staff. The environment in this facility is atrocious. The dining room experience for a resident here is beyond unpleasant. The food is either tasteless or incredibly spicy. There is no method, organization or customer service. There are different faces everyday. The nursing department is lacking immensely. A majority of the care staff are agency staff, meaning there’s no genuine obligation to this community. They are just filling the hours for state regulations. They’re unable to keep staff due to the negativity, lack of leadership and unprofessionalism. The review below from “Diane” is interesting. Because no one has moved into the memory care unit 2 months ago. If anything, the memory care unit at this facility has cleared out due to lack of staff, lack of activities, and the food being inedible. There’s 5 residents in a 28 bed unit. So that says a lot. If you scroll some more and see a review from Kristy Mata about the rooms….. She’s currently a regional nurse for Pegasus & goes to the facility sporadically, so I’m shocked to see she’s even seen one of the rooms because she usually just sits in an office. She also doesn’t know how to keep HR complaints confidential so idk why she’s even still employed let alone posting positive reviews. This company is awful to work for, the community is a disgrace to bring your family member to. The company doesn’t care about their staff let alone their residents. This company has established an awful work environment so allowing your family member to be “cared for” here is nonexistent. The review by Jamie Williams is spot on, and that was two years ago. This community is the same as it was then. Do your research and know that assisted livings are plentiful in Arizona and DO NOT bring your loved one to this facility or even work at this facility ! I wouldn’t have even gave 1 star if I didn’t have to.

Regretfully, I had to move my Dad from this facility. Nice place, friendly administration, but could not get basic care for my Dad. He had Dementia. His room always dirty, laundry not done half the time, basic hygiene needs not being done. Everytime brought to Admin. attention raised his rates but nothing ever changed. Last straw was their accounting system which could not manage to get his billing correct. I constantly had to work with Manager to get billing correct. When I moved him I got a large bill months after he left. When I questioned was told I had to prove they were wrong and do all the research myself. As my Dad died 18 days after I moved him from Broadway I just paid it because I did not have the strength nor energy to fight them. Their billing was so screwed up the last six months they couldn't bill correctly but wanted me to figure it out. In closing all I wanted from this place was basic hygiene care, to be dressed appropriately and a clean living environment which is the most important thing and should be just basic. I got every excuse in the world and promises to change but nothing changed except more charges for things that never got done. Quit putting lipstick on a pig and address basics human dignity. Isn't that what you are supposed to be all about, not money. Your staff talks a good game but that is all. I might add it is obvious money went for making place look nice but not hiring trained staff or providing incentives to keep good staff.
