ALMOND CARE CONCEPTS AT AMERICAN ORCHARDS

We moved my mom to American Orchards after she broke her hip last year. She had lived in two other facilities before here and I can honestly say there is no comparison. While her other facilities were very nice, American Orchards staff makes the others pale in comparison. When she moved in she was the only smoker at the time and they built an outdoor shaded smoking area. The Resident Service Director, Shannon, and the rest of the staff treated our entire family with respect, kindness, patience and compassion. There were multiple staff members who checked on her daily, making sure she had the assistance needed to dress, shower, use the rest room, get outside for her smoking breaks, make it to meals on time and transport her to the activities she was interested in. She was always clean, dressed nicely, and content. I knew she was being well cared for. The meals are amazing, diverse and nutritious. The kitchen staff is helpful and courteous and ensured she had meals she enjoyed or offered her the option of her favorite PBJ. Toward the end of her life, the staff were especially attentive and caring. When she passed, staff came into her room, sat by her side, thanked her for the opportunity to care for her and said goodbye. American Orchards facility and grounds are beautiful, however, it is the staff who go above and beyond that make this more of a family and home and not just a facility. Our entire family highly recommends American Orchards if your family has a need for assisted living or memory care.

My family and I can't say enough good things about American Orchards, especially the resident service director Shannon. She helped my MIL and family so much. When my MIL began to have behavioral issues Shannon and staff catered to her every need, as we live across the country. We decided to move MIL to a different city and Shannon helped every step of the way. She worked overtime and made sure my MIL was taken care of until she was moved. The facility itself is very nice, clean and modern. The staff is wonderful and so caring. American Orchards is a great option for any families that don't live near by and need a place to trust with their loved ones care. They go above and beyond to make sure their residences are properly cared for and keep families in the loop with any issues. Thank you to Shannon and the American Orchards staff!

American Orchards was a big blessing to our family. When my Mom first went to them she was very sick. They were very kind and patient with her. They really cared for her with kindness. As Mom got better they made her feel so welcomed and loved. The staff were so friendly and kind. They kept her room clean and respected her things. The caregiver's were great! The nurses knew my mom's health plan and made she she got her medication on time. They treated us all with love. They always kept in touch with us daily about her. When my Mom passed away several of them came to her memorial. I can't say enough about American Orchards. They are and will always be family to us. They always had lots of wonderful activities for her to do. They even allowed her to lead a Bible story and during COVID-19 they always brought her to the window to visit her granddaughter and family.

I've been visiting a friend of mine almost every week for over a year at American Orchard Memory Care and I'm so impressed with the staff! They readily care for the residents there and are so helpful to those in their care and to people like me who visit. Residents are treated well and respectfully. The Care Director is keenly aware of what is going on and no doubt sets the tone for the staff to meet and exceed expectations of caring for the residents. I would recommend American Orchard to anyone needing memory care!

My mom has been in the American Orchard Memory Care since May 2023 and I absolutely love this place. Everyone who works there is caring and goes above and beyond their job. The Care Director enters a room with such happiness that it is contagious and you can tell she cares for the residents and they love her being there. I’ve over heard caregivers ask each other if there are any residents that need changed.. they do this on a regular basis and touch base with each other to make sure no one was missed. They all seem to have a personal connection with the residents. They also step in to whatever role they see needs help. I've seen the facility manager makes her rounds and even check to make sure the meals are up to their standards. Which is another thing... the meals area AMAZING. You can tell that they are carefully planned out. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is. My mom has been in 3 other places previously and I really wish I had her here from the beginning.
