If you want to live in hell, or punish a loved one, put them in this place. You sign a contract, but they don’t follow it. Their answer is if you don’t like it you’re only on a 30 day lease so get out. Cold food, wrong or late desperately needed meds. Hot water sporadically off. This is a very, very very unhappy place..A Director that might as well be a warden. The nurse has no idea what he is doing. dog friendly what a joke. Even a service dog .Daily trash pick up ,lucky if it’s weekly. bugs everywhere do not expect very many compassionate workers. If you complain, expect heavy retaliation This is not assisted , This is controlled living Thank God I had A daughter that got me out of there. If you want to see many residents, crying In fear, that’s the place to go. All I can say is I pray for those that are left there!!!!🤬🤬😠😠💔

My mother and step-dad lived here years ago. They loved it. I spent a lot of time there at that time, and I'm guessing it's still a very well run business. Don't be swayed by things you read online. Much of it isn't accurate. Also, they have a memory care area if needed. Good people.

They seldom provide the care they say they will when you meet with them and getting anything done is very difficult. They're constantly sending notices of rule changes but then they don't follow their own rules. I wish I'd never come here and hope to be moving soon!

Just watched the van driver doing 65 in a 45 zone. Then instead of staying at the red light turned right at intersection went across double yellow line and solid white lines. Then took a right back on the 60 Grand Ave to keep going. I would never let a loved one stay there if that's the way the Transportaion people drive.

I am currently employed with Ventana Winds as Activities Director. I absolutely love this place and our residents. The staff is very friendly and professional. We have so much fun, we strive to have amazing activities for the residents to participate in. From canvas painting to cooking class, board games and jumbo games, nature walks and current events. There is never a boring day here. We've recently started a garden club and will soon have a harvest of rich organic veggies, not to mention a swimming club, and weekly bus outings to Wal-mart. Most of our ladies love manicure Monday's and showing off their beautiful gel nails, with flower designs. My priority is the residents and assuring they have something fun and exciting to participate in daily. This is definitely an exciting place to work and we always have so much fun. :)
