THE PALAZZO

My mother has been living at the Palazzo for 5 years; first in independent living, and now assisted living. Her, and our experience has been absolutely wonderful, from touring, choosing and help moving into an apt with Olga and Vicky, to the ongoing support from Alysha, and the whole staff who goes above and beyond to help my mother day in and day out. A highlight of the Palazzo is the amazing property along with the entertainment and activities they have to offer, which is a major contributor to the quality of life for all the residents.

I am keeping my review strictly to the independent living/assisted and NOT the skilled nursing.… That would have a very different review. My father moved into an independent living apartment in August, and after a serious medical issue, and a 2 1/2 weeks day in the skilled nursing, he required higher level of care and is now under the Assisted living. After our experience at Palazzo’s skilled nursing floor, I was skeptical. I am pleasantly happy to report a very positive experience. My dad had a recent fall and was attended to quickly. Response time to his pendant give me added comfort as I return back to the East. All the caregivers have been nice and special kudos go to Dorothy, Melissa, and Luz who have been available every time I have needed them and have taken seriously every question I have asked, with the utmost of patience, because there have been many!

My dad has lived at The Palazzo for a few years and I remain grateful to the team for the attention they provide to the residents and for the extensive activity program they offer. The happy hours and live music concerts are popular and it's fun to see that a lot of family members come to happy hour too. It's a great way for so many people to meet each other.

I am a care giver from an outside agency who recently cared for a female there. The hallways smells really bad from urine. The smell is so strong I had to hold my nose and my mouth. I was there for over three hours and watched how some of the so called skilled nurses treated the residents, horrified of what I saw. The one star is for Ms. Sylvia and the few others that were doing their jobs. Sad that you need an outside agency while you already have care. That speaks volumes itself. What are the cameras there for. Do they work? Someone is not doing their job neither.

My father was in independent living for little while and now is in the skilled nursing floor. The Palazzo is incredibly well appointed and clean. The food is delicious. The apartments are spacious and the staff is excellent. There are a ton of activities for residents. The 'Main Street' area has a constant buzz of activity. I especially like how this is a continuing care community -- from independent living to asset living to nursing and memory care -- all in one facility. It's convent to all locations of the valley....highly recommended!!!
