SUNRIDGE VILLAGE

After 2 months my husband was finally moved back to lake Havasu. I thank God. Of course I was assured by the staff that they would take good care of him, did not happen. Every time I went to see him he had one kind of an abrasion on his elbows or knees or face because he had fallen. Was awakened almost every other day with a call from the facility that he had fallen. This place’s community room was dirty and you could see people mostly in pjs, dirty, hair not combed. After my husband was transferred they sent only Half of his belongings, yet every thing had to have his name on them. Brand new comforter and blanket, T-shirt s, socks, his favorite ball cap , pjs are apparently still in the laundry. I was also informed by the memory care manager “we are not a moving company “. REALLY! People here are not very well taken care of at all. The young people that are there are only there for that little paycheck. Most of the time my husband sleep in a recliner and probably medicated, there was not much activity or comunicación on his part. I have yet to receive all his belongings because apparently they all sprung legs and walked out with 10 fingers. There will be no compensation according to the manager. Tuff s.h.t right like most people I don’t have another $200 to $300 witch ( I’m going to write it) was stollen . That’s what it would take to replace. I’m planning to file a complaint with the better Business Bureau in Bullhead City. The state of Arizona needs to take another look at the “hell Hole” which another resident put it, and clean it up. For the people that really tried, there is a place for you. For the the memory care manager and supervisor with your rude and disrespectful attitude there will also be a place for you.

This is fair warning to anyone who is looking for assisted living for their loved one's. On October 10th 2018 This facility had their employee's take a resident and drop him off in a parking lot at the local Home Depot saying his residency had expired. I hope they are investigated and fired for this inhumane treatment of an elderly man. To be treated worse than an animal is despicable. I hope the local news gets wind of this and calls them out for who they really are. The local police and a home depot associate got him into a hotel for the weekend until his daughter could be reached. I would close this place down if I could. So when they say " compassionate care given" believe me when I say that is hogwash. Shame on you! Not even worth one star.

Do not hesitate to let your family member go to Sunridge Village. This place was way better than my expectations. The staff is super friendly, caring and helpful in every way. When I called the staff never hesitated to let me speak with my mom and always answered all my questions. Better than 5 stars for Mohave County Arizona.

The staff are wonderful, Gena and Cyndi were most caring and helpful to my friend Odie when I was not available. I miss my other friends there Shirley, Anna, Marie and Kenny very much as I have not been back since my friend Odie passed away April 11; 2015 but I know my friends are getting the best of care from people who truly care about them. I still recommend them to everyone!

Wonderful place. Cynthia Renova was super nice to my grandparents who stayed here. She provided excellent care and showed compassion like no one ever has for them who took care of them. She's an incredible worker and made me feel my family were safe and in wonderful hands.
