DEVON GABLES REHABILITATION CENTER, LLC

I am a resident of this facility. I was robbed twice at this past Christmas time. I spoke with the manager and because I personally did not see the thieves, they were right outside my patio talking, and I know their voices, she could do nothing for me. Devon Gables has NO security and it is up to the resident to secure some kind of security for themselves. Management knows we have a male bully in this facility, several women are afraid of him, including myself. But NOTHING is done about his threatening behavior. I was attacked by him physically, this past summer but he still lives here doing whatever he wants to do. Would I recommend this facility, absolutely NOT. MANAGEMENT needs to come out of their offices, and really get to know the elderly people who pay their salaries. Then maybe something will be done to safeguard the residents. And no more excuses!

Am a travel CNA with 25 plus year experience. I've been in hospitals in multiple countries. The first thing you will feel is the swamp cooler for the patients area;however, the administration staff building has AC. I've seen and complained about cockroaches. They were in the beds with the patient in two separate rooms at two different situations. They had black ants in the hallway and somebody left the two main doors ajar for multiple hours unlocked. They have smallest shower between 8 to 10 feet room in any healthcare facility I've ever been in. The allocation they gave me for weekly living expenses wasn't enough for me to stay in a decent Airbnb room. I had to pay extra money out of my own pocket. I was losing money working there. This is the worst healthcare facility I've ever seen in Arizona.

The most admirable part of Devon Gables is their high quality staff, I have a love one here and through our journey I have met nurses, caregivers and maintenance people that have been working in Devon Gables for many years. The level of dignity, knowledge and dedication they offer is admirable. I am thankful to have come across a team like the one Devon Gables has they have been great with me and my family! Thank you!

My sister was recently hospitalized and needed more recovery time before going home. She had spent a month here a couple of years ago due to an amputation. The staff and facility were excellent then so we didn't hesitate to select Devon Gables again. They did not disappoint! She received outstanding care and rehab. The nurses and techs were very responsive. The PT and OT staff were knowledgeable and encouraging. They got her up and moving in no time! The meals were nutritious and tasty. She's home now due to the wonderful care she got. I want to give a special shout out to Heather, the Administrator, Carol and Dave in Admissions, and Fran, the caseworker. It's through their efforts, hard work, and compassion that Devon Gables is such a special place. Thank you!

Patients suffer in the hands of disgruntled employees. The management wants to fill beds, and would rather lie than address common place concerns: lazy staff, abusive staff, poor sanitation and use of recreational marijuana at work by staff. I have worked in Healthcare for almost two decades, and this is one of the worst facilities I have ever encountered.
