CANYON VALLEY MEMORY CARE RESIDENCE

I placed my great aunt and her close friend here after researching all available memory care facilities in the Green Valley area. I chose Canyon Valley because the facilities were impressive, the staff seemed professional and caring, they were willing to take on the responsibility of caring for my aunt's small dog, and they agreed to accept Medicare payment once the residents' personal finances are exhausted, which many first-rate senior residences will not. Canyon Valley lived up to our expectations. The facilities were clean and attractive, the staff was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. My aunt and her companion were very happy and well cared for. So was their dog, who outlived them and is now a beloved member of the community.

My mom lives at Canyon Valley Memory Care and I can’t say enough about the exceptional care she receives. I am a healthcare professional and have been in many different facilities in the area. I chose Canyon Valley because I like the smaller home like environment, and the excellent activity program that they offer. I have never regretted the decision to place her at Canyon Valley and after a year of her being a resident there I became an employee. I highly recommend Canyon Valley Memory Care.

The ED is a liar, a bully, and a manipulator to her superiors. The roof is falling in on mountain. The dinning room floor has separated from the foundation on canyon/river. The RCC isn't even certified. The care staff is made up of 95% Uncertified staff. The medtech most days is the only certified person in the building. The care provided does not meet standards. The ED spends more time on vacation than in the building. This is not a safe facility to have your family at. Complaints do not get passed to frontier managementthe ED hides everything.

This facility is unsafe, they overwork the caregivers. The ratios are non existent. The Director saw me right after I cut my hand open on a broken glass and said not to worry "I would be fine". I had to resign because Becky was awful to work for. You couldn't do anything right.

They treat the certified caregivers awful and they allow uncertified people to take care of people also in this facility by themselves. I personally had to watch Over 38 people. Buy myself for 8 hour shift. They do not care the managers. Don't care at all about about the people that work there. Or about the people that live there.
