Our experience at Acoya Mesa was exceptional. We moved our mother into Acoya in June and by mid July her health had declined rapidly. The staff was incredible and treated my mother like she were their own. Over the next six months my brother and I were overwhelmed by the love and care the staff gave to our mother paying attention to her every detail. They were gentle, kind, attentive and went above and beyond in every area to assure she was taken well care of. We truly became family and it gave me such peace knowing that she was in good hands especially at times when I couldn't be there. I would hope to one day be treated with as much love and dignity they showed our mom.

I have had the pleasure of working at Acoya for about 6 months now. I have loved it since I first stepped through the door. I have learned a lot working under an amazing Chef Chris. I have had the honor and pleasure of being asked to be a Host chef for special occasions and services. I truly have found a home here at Acoya.

I personally have been a Concierge at Acoya Mesa for over 3 years now and I enjoy my job every day as if it was the first day all over again. From meeting new residents and their families, to sharing memories with the residents and family members I have been encountering from my first day. I enjoy seeing the smiles, haring the laughs, and being a part of what we call the 'Acoya Family'. The holidays are the best, along with our common occurrence of parties! I'm excited to see what the future holds for Acoya Mesa and the future residents and employees to come!

My mother and I have shared a 2 bedroom apartment at Acoya Mesa for almost a year now. Food is great whether we order from the daily gourmet options, or order from the hamburger, pizza, salad, sandwich menu available at all meals. Cheers to our chef Wallis. Weekly housekeeping, daily activities, transportation to doctors and shopping is all much appreciated. Staff work together as a team supporting each other and everyone has the well being of the residents as their main goal. Cannot say enough good about Director Mindy and all of the staff here.
